Christopher Schorch (born 30 January 1989 in Halle, Saxony-Anhalt) is a German footballer who plays for Energie Cottbus, as a central defender.
Schorch came through the ranks of Hertha BSC, and made his Bundesliga debut in the closing stages of 2006–07. In July 2007, he signed with Real Madrid for €600,000,[1] being assigned to its B side, which had been freshly relegated to the third division.
After two years in Spain, Schorch returned to Germany and signed a four-year contract with 1. FC Köln, for €1 million.[2]
